Zeus Launches Free Sampling Program

Zeus, a polymer extrusion manufacturer, has rolled out a new sampling program. Known as the Zeus Virtual Sample Locker (VSL), the service offers customers private online accounts through which they can select from a variety of in-stock samples, free of charge, or they can request custom sizes.

“Zeus has always partnered with everyone from large OEMs to solo entrepreneurs when it comes to delivering next generation prototypes,” said Product Development Sales Manager Travis Hauck. “This program was launched in response to requests from our customers who wanted a fast and easy way to access the tubing samples they need to prototype their ideas.”

The process is simple, according to company officials. Existing and prospective customers sign up online. After registration is confirmed, they are taken to an online portal where they can order samples free of charge. Users typically will receive the samples they’ve selected overnight.

Zeus also offers its customers assistance or guidance from members of what the company calls its “Technical Z-Team,” a group of polymer scientists, engineers and technicians that offer customized consultations.

“Our Z-Team consults are available via phone, e-mail, video conferencing or they’ll travel to you,” said Hauck. “When you combine the sampling program with the power of our experts, it just throws open the door for customers on what’s possible.”

The VSL sampling program is available to Zeus customers in any of the industries the company serves, including medical, aerospace, fiber optics, oil and gas, and automotive.
